"A safe, welcoming, non judgemental space + time for me"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Salford bereavement therapy service

(as the patient),

After losing My Mum very suddenly last year in March, I suffered with severe anxiety around driving and doubted myself when making decisions .

This had a big impact not only on my personal life but my working life.

My six week counselling sessions gave me a safe, welcoming, non judgemental time for me to understand and reflect on how I was feeling.

Rob my counsellor helped me feel able to talk about childhood, worries, feelings, and anxiety.

He gave me a safe space to reflect and understand my feelings and the journey of grief and it helped me feel like I could get through the anxiety slowly and not beat myself up about it.

I worked out some strategies to help myself and I feel this is because I allowed myself to take one hour a week for six weeks with Rob my counsellor.

I would definitely recommend six degrees to anyone in need.
