"Caring and comforting staff"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery University Hospital Wishaw / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I had to attend for an endoscopy last week. I have been terrified of going because of a horrid experience last time as an in-patient. Dr Akhtar re-assured me that he would make sure that I was sedated enough that I would not feel a thing. And boy did he keep that promise. When I came around I had no idea the procedure had been carried out!!

A special thank you to all the staff who were upbeat, caring and comforting at a time where I was very scared.

Dear Dazzle,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us about your recent experience at University Hospital Wishaw, Endoscopy.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for a procedure, especially if you have not had a positive experience previously, I am delighted our friendly team put you at ease and Dr Akhtar kept you well sedated and comfortable throughout. Your positive feedback and thanks will give the team a much needed boost and I will be sure to feed this back to them.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind regards,

Jenni
