"District Nurse care following discharge from hospital"

About: Guy's Hospital

(as a relative),

Following mouth cancer surgery at Guy's hospital my brother needed wound care at home. Attendance times for district nurses ranged from extremely varied to non-attendance. In one case the wound was re-dressed by a nurse in the OPD follow up clinic. Hospital services were first class, excellent at all times. Community care was poor to absent.
