"admission to East Surrey Hospital"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I developed chest pain whilst working in the Emergency Department of East Surrey Hospital in early September and to my concern (& embarassment) was admitted first to CDU and then to AMU. I cannot fault the care I recieved from HCA Charlene & S/N Rod on CDU and S/N Connie on AMU. Being a senior member of Trust staff made no difference to my care as eavesdropping from behind my curtains I could hear their same caring attitudes towards my fellow patients. My thanks also to Dr Desu, ED Reg and the Medical Reg. who discharged me home the following morning (sorry I didn't quite catch your name). Just one suggestion - nursing staff, please introduce yourselves by name because you are worth remembering.

Dear Treaclefairy

Many thanks for taking the time to post such a positive story about East Surrey Hospital. I will ensure your praise is shared with the various departments that you mention.

Kind regards

Ian
