"Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise /Fitness classes"

About: Bassetlaw / Cardio pulmonary rehab service

(as the patient),

Several folks met and spent two hours on guided exercise and listening to talks. The sessions ran for 6 weeks at twice a week. They were lead by a physiotherapist from the respiratory team and a rehabilitation assistant. We were supervised and guided, enabling us to improve both strength and stamina. We used equipment and also some free standing exercises.

Thank you for your comments about your experience of Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The pulmonary rehabilitation programme is designed to help service users cope with breathlessness and feel stronger and fitter at the same time.

I hope that people will read your comments and understand a bit more about our service.

Once again thank you for taking the time to comment - I will pass the comments on to the team.

Lynda Potter
