"Cook4life"

About: Adult Specialist Services / Nutrition & dietetics

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Rocco and I really enjoyed the "Cook4life" sessions. Rocco can be quite difficult ( he can be angry and strong willed) so it has been fantastic to take part in an activity together where we've had fun, time to bond and a shared experience.

I avoid cooking with my children at home as I find it very stressful but this has given me the confidence and impetus to give it another go. Viv has been brilliant. Thank you so much!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments here.

It is always great to hear stories such as yours where the session has enabled you to work on a one to one basis with your child and see an improvement in his behaviour. It is also great to hear that this course has now given you the confidence to consider cooking at home with the children. I hope that you do endeavour to do this using the new skills, knowledge and confidence you have gained on this course.

I am pleased you feel that Viv has been a 'brilliant' tutor and I will pass on your thanks to her.

Once again thank you for your comments
