"Rude welcome"

Brought my mother to a casualty clinic as advised by oncall team. Due to excruciating pain post treatment earlier in week.

Was greeted by a member of staff on reception who was a very rude and abrupt. Whose tutting and huffing at us arriving for the advised appointment was not welcomed.

Clearly they were not aware of this but decided to blame us as patient. We therefore had to justify why we were there before they allowed us to remain.

Basic manners and caring attitude would of gone a long way to help reassure an already anxious patient.
