"Lack of care"

About: New Cross Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

My elderly grandmother was admitted yesterday, with pain in her shoulder she was seen quickly, they found her liver enzymes to be too high, she was then stuck in a bed, left almost 12 hours without her medication, food or drink.

When someone finally came around to her they wanted to discharge her (which would have been great) but they weren't looking at her notes it was another patients. So they'd ignored her all day because they thought she was someone else.

When they finally figured it out she'd been nearly two days without her regular medication.
