"Trip to the school of dentistry"

(as a service user),

I went today to get my teeth looked at as my dentist has just caused more injury. 

I went to the school of dentistry in RVH and meet the most lovely staff that I have meet. The students are so knowledgeable and nurses are fantastic they make you feel like you have known them for years. 

I laughed as I was getting treated and then was sent to x-ray where I meet Gary and Jess and even though I was a bit of a difficult patient and could handle getting the equipment in my mouth, they where both so lovely and calming and again made me feel so relaxed. 

I am a member of the Belfast Trust and I can say that the staff working in the school of dentistry embody the trust values of excellence.

I am very happy to hear that you had a positive experience and were made to feel welcome and comfortable at your appointment. Attending a hospital appointment can sometimes feel very daunting and so we are pleased everything went well and you felt ‘calm and relaxed’.

Also lovely to hear that you laughed while getting your dental treatment.

Thank you again and I will be sure to pass on all your positive comments to our undergraduate students and x-ray department.
