"Left me in crisis"

About: Adult mental health / CMHT South West

(as a service user),

TEWV Trust are refusing to provide me with any help for a condition they've diagnosed me with, and they've left me in crisis for weeks, you would not leave someone with a broken leg to suffer in slience like this they will not help me with anything!

I am very sorry to hear of your experience, it sounds like you are going through a difficult time and we would never want anybody to suffer for such a long period. If you could let me know which team you were involved with I can investigate this serious matter further. You can reach me by emailing TEWV.patientcarerfeedback@nhs.net or alternatively you can raise your concerns as a complaint at tewv.complaints@nhs.net. Please do contact I would like to resolve this matter for you. If you feel in crisis, you can ring 111 and select option 2, this will provide support at any time. I wish you well.

Update posted by Lausj47 (a service user)

Hi,

I was under the CMHT at Acomb Garth in York. The situation since I posted this has gone from bad to worse as they have now discharged me from their team and the crisis team have done nothing to help me. The person I spoke to said I was shouting at her, when I wasn't shouting at her at all, and she threatened to end the call! I will email you regarding this.

Thanks
