"Angry that my referral was rejected"

(as the patient),

My doctor referred me to Sheffield ENT because i have a severe form of Parosmia and phantosmia off the back of having surgery to replace my hip. My GP explained to them that it wasn't due to covid virus but they rejected it anyway. I have been unable to eat food since last summer and am living on 600 calories a day and under dietician that cannot help me because i am allergic to the contents of nutritional packs. I live on skimmed milkshake in one flavour because i can't tolerate anything. I have lost 20% of my body weight in 4 months and there's no sign of the disgusting taste and smell easing.

I am angry that my referral was rejected by ENT without questioning me. I think they just assumed it was from Covid but it wasn't.
