"Incontinence problem"

About: Specialist Nursing Services / Specialist Continence Service (South)

(as the patient),

I was invited to attend an appointment to discuss the problems I have been having with this and to see how this could be helped or resolved

We briefly went through my medical history and then the continence problems I have had since the forceps delivery due to the premature birth of my second baby.

We discussed the chart which I had completed showing how often I passed urine, volume of urine and leaks for 3 days.

I then had a bladder scan and an internal to determine how strong my pelvic floor is at present

After this I was given some information on pelvic floor exercises and an appointment was made to return in a month to see how I got on

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback on the service and your experience, and for outlining the support that you have received. Hopefully you will see some significant improvements and the team will review this with you at your future appointment. Thank you again for sharing your experience of one of our teams.
