"Excellent care"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

In March I had a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy at Glasgow Royal infirmary. I would like to say a massive thank you to every single member of staff that was involved. My treatment from beginning to end was great.

Some people names I caught and others I forgot but every single one was great. Emma the nursing student who I thought was in final year but was only 3 weeks into her first placement-you are going to be great. To the rest of the team in SDAU-thank you. Your care and compassion won’t be forgotten.

Everyone in theatre and recovery-thank you.

All staff on ward 56, Kim, Amanda Caitlyn, Kim and all the others whose name I didn’t catch-thank you so much for your care.

Dear MARM2712,

Thank you so much for spending the time to give your feedback on your experience of our fabulous Ward 56 team following your surgery.

I am delighted to hear that your treatment from beginning to end was great.

I will be sure to share your high praise with our student nurse Emma as well as Kim, Amanda, Caitlyn, Kim and the rest of the Ward 56 team. This is the high standard of person centred care we wish to deliver.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Kind regards,

Nikki
