"Excellent specialist advice and support"

The Neuro disorders clinic offers outstanding advice, assessment and support to those with complex diagnoses. My mother had dementia with lewy bodies and received excellent support from the clinic with consultants who specialised in her complex presentation. They were compassionate, helpful and offered a helpful review of medication and bespoke advice. The multi-agency aspect of the clinic is brilliant and allows an holistic approach which the local mental health team were unable to offer. I believe the input from this team helped us to avoid my mother needing unnecessary hospital admission and am truly grateful to the team for their help. We need more specialists services for complex neurology and dementia illnesses like this.
