I came into this off the back of high anxiety levels, excessive worry and panic attacks. I felt completely overwhelmed and dominated by my worries. Everything felt like an insurmountable problem, and i couldn't break out of thought patterns that made this worse. In fact I didn't even know that my thought patterns were contributing to it at all.
The techniques and tools that I learned over the 8 weeks have helped me so much. I understand these thought patterns now, and how to better cope with them. CBT helped me so much, if you're willing to commit and put the effort into it. Your therapist can show you how, it's YOU that has the power to put it into action
