About: New Stobhill Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

I recently attended Clinic F gynaecology at New Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow, as a follow-up appointment after my hysterectomy. 

Dr McAlpine-Scott was wonderful and treated me with total respect and dignity. Her caring and professional attitude was exceptional and as I was very nervous this made me feel far more relaxed. Everything was fully explained to me before and during my colposcopy/smear.  I was given advice and my questions were answered with the utmost patience and understanding. Her nurse and the registrar who were present throughout were also totally professional and reassuring.

I am scheduled to return in the future and having had such a positive experience, I will not be as stressed and worried. Many thanks to Dr McAlpine-Scott and her team. Also thanks to Dr Kumar and all the other staff who have previously treated me in the department prior to surgery.

i am the senior charge nurse within clinic f at stobhill hospital ach.this clinic is dedicated to womens health within gynaecology .Patients attend for a variety of different gynaecological issues where a diagnosis can be made and further treatments given.I also manage a group of 15 nurses in order for them to safely provide the highest and most up to date care for each patient

Dr V McAlpine -Scott,Dr Kumar,the registrar and nurse strive very hard to provide the best care possible and will be delighted to hear of your comments about the care you received while attending the clinic and that you have been highly reassured and will not be worried about attending the clinic again
