"Warm, understanding and compassionate"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

My husband was called  unexpectedly into the Trauma Assessment unit at Pilgrim Hospital. The negative part of this feedback is that we weren't informed why it appeared to be quite urgent. A brief explanation would have saved us much worry and stress.

However once there we couldn't have asked for better treatment from Deb and Hannah. Both were extremely warm, understanding and compassionate. They were more than willing to respond all our questions and to  find out the answer if they didn't know themselves. They both went the extra mile to make a very long day as cheerful as possible, engaging in banter with us , as and when appropriate. At the same time being very warm and professional.  They are a credit to the NHS.
