"Breast cancer diagnosis and treatment"

I am under the care of Mr Poonawala. At my call back appointment Mr Poonawala told me that I had Ductal Carcinoma in Situ in a very compassionate way. He explained what it was and also what it meant. He also showed my mammogram image and explained my treatment plan. He is very caring and was attentive at all times to everything I said. My named Macmillan nurse, Laura, also was compassionate and caring helping me to absorb the vast amount of information given to me in a pre prepared pack. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Poonawala and my care team. They are from the top drawer, as my mum would have said. I would also like to thank the MDT who together decided what course of treatment would give me the best outcome. I am now receiving post treatment care and support and I am free of cancer. Praise God.
