"Put me at ease straight from the start"

I visited Grantham hospital for a day case surgery for a Radical orchiectomy due to suspected testicular cancer.

On admission, the quality care was excellent. All nurses and support staff were all so caring and put me at ease straight from the start.

My dedicated nurse was Shelly. She had a great sense of humour and any request I had was no problem at all. She regularly checked in with me throughout the morning whilst waiting for my operation.

My Surgeon Mr Phull was very clear in his explanations before the operation and once again filled me with confidence before the procedure.

Once coming around from the Op, Shelley once again was continually on hand to get me through the stages through to discharge. She gave great advice for recovery and quality of care was second to none right until the point she got me into my car.
