I had an appointment for a routine echo scan arranged through cardiology Aberdeen, this appointment was scheduled for 9am and it was on time and the 2 nurses were very friendly and explained the procedure thoroughly and professionally and they also made me feel very relaxed about it.
Start to finish took about 20 minutes after which I was informed about the next steps which was that the results would be forwarded to my cardiologist in Aberdeen who would then contact me by letter to tell me my results and if any further appointment is necessary.
The nurses were Carolyn, who performed the scan and Lorna who was there to take the pre scan information, height, weight etc, both of whom were very polite and helpful 😀
