"Professional but friendly"

About: Northern General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I had been referred by my GP for an ultrasound. The waiting times were longer then expected but staff lovely and helpful when I rang to chase up my referral and I did not feel like an inconvenience. I had my scan, the sonographer undertaking my scan was professional but friendly, chatty, which put my mind at ease making the whole experience much less anxiety provoking.
