I recently attended for a gynaecology procedure as a day patient. I was treated with courtesy and respect throughout my time there. Following the procedure I was unwell and needed to stay a little longer than expected. Although the day surgery unit was clearly running at full capacity, the staff took extremely good care of me and reassured me that I would not be discharged until the consultant was happy with my health. I felt safe, supported and as comfortable as possible.
