As a person with multiple chronic illnesses, being heard, listened to and seen by medical professionals is something that doesn't happen very often. However, I've recently found a GP at my practice who does all of these things. Dr Mistry treats patients with care and sees the whole picture, looking at the whole person. It's true holistic health care in practice. I have PoTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and was in a flare the last time I saw him. The appointment was for something unrelated, but he wasn't fazed when I asked to do the appointment laid on the floor with my feet on a chair - he is truly a credit to the practice and the best GP I've ever seen!
