"Hard-working, caring team"

About: New Cross Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

The staff on the C12 Frailty SDEC ward need a round of applause 👏 They were clearly busy on the morning when my mother was transferred into this ward for further assessment, but from the moment she arrived the nursing team showed a caring, professional attitude. They were kind and respectful in their interactions and made us all feel at ease after a worrying night. They were happy to explain what was going to happen and which practitioners would be seeing my mother that morning. After assessment from a lovely doctor, and a referral request for district nurses to attend was made, the ward nurses contacted the DN team directly to make sure they would be available at the earliest opportunity.

I have nothing but high praise for this hard working, caring team and whilst I don't wish for anyone to need their care, if you do, then it will be quality.
