I spent a week in hospital. Was discharged but became unwell the following day. I went back to a&e, they said my infection markers were higher than when I was in but i was fine and sent me home. I attended again a few hours later feeling worse, brought in by ambulance.
The paramedic I found incredibly rude. When handing me over to the a&e, they emphasised my provisional diagnosis of FND (unrelated to my attendance), the staff member then asked them if they are you getting that vibe off me, to which the paramedic said yes. I felt so humiliated.
I waited to see the Dr who said again my infection markers were high but everything else was fine. I asked them if I could see the ENT team for a follow up as I was under their care. They told me to call them. I said I don't have a phone number, they said go through switchboard. I then spent all day trying to talk to someone from ENT but they are not answering, there is no direct number for the clinic. I'm left at home feeling unwell. I think my infection has returned or spread and no one to turn to. I cant go back to a&e for a third time to sit for another 8-9 hours. I don't know what to do.
