I was booked in for a D&C with Tracey at Wishaw. Prior to that Sheila at Hairmyres EPAS had helped me to that point.
As much as the situation is triggering and upsetting. The kindness and caring nature of both Sheila and Tracey was unbelievable. You could tell their level of experience and patience was something you can’t buy.
All the staff I encountered today at Wishaw throughout the whole procedure were sympathetic and caring. Especially the nurse in the theatre room whose name I didn’t get but who gave me a hug when I got upset. The nurse Stacey in recovery was also so kind.
