"I have the highest respect and appreciation for everything they do"

About: Community Nursing / District Nursing

(as a relative),

The District Nursing team based in the Medical  Centre Arbroath visited my elderly mother in law at home during a particularly stressful period both for herself and her family as she was experiencing severe issues with going to the toilet.

Claire and her team provided excellent care in a professional manner. They were so kind and patient, taking the time to listen to her worries, holding her hand and speaking in such a reassuring way which helped to put her mind at ease. They were able to explain the symptoms and why she was experiencing them in a way she understood whilst treating her with respect, also giving excellent advice to both of us on how to manage her symptoms. 

Claire and her team are continuing to provide support/care and I have the highest respect and appreciation for everything they do.

I am sorry to hear that your mother-in-law (and family) have had a difficult time in managing the health-related issues you describe. I can appreciate how stressful this will have been for you all. I am delighted to hear that you felt the care, compassion and expertise from the whole team was both excellent and reassuring.
