"All the staff were fantastic"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Planned Surgical Ward (Ward 36)

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to ward 36 for a planned op. On arrival staff were lovely. Rebecca the nurse assigned to looking after me explained what would happen. Everyone I met throughout the day was lovely, they all explained everything well and reassured me. Rebecca took me to the theatre and she chatted the whole time helping to keep me relaxed.

Post op the ward everyone was great, making sure I was comfortable and supported me when I got up for a walk.  The next morning they helped get me up, offered support with showers etc. 

This ward is definitely one of the best experiences I have had at Ninewells and all the staff were fantastic.

I will ensure the team are made of this and im sure Rebecca will be over the moon to hear that you felt she made a real difference during your stay.
