(as the patient),

I was referred to Wishaw A+E by my GP today to rule out a serious condition and was treated with care and respect from the moment I stepped into the department. From the person on reception, triage staff, junior doctor (Niall), porters, Xray staff to the consultant, everyone was lovely and really put me at ease. I want to say thank you to each and every one of you for your care and consideration. You are a credit to your professions and to NHS Lanarkshire. I hope you all have a happy, and healthy, new year when it comes and thank you again for such an excellent service. I was in and out in 4.5 hours despite the sign saying it was 6-8 hour wait for GP referrals. Home in time for tea! Thank you all for all you do for everyone visiting your department.
