"A star nurse"

Lewis in A&E is a star nurse. He made me smile, he asked to borrow my flower in my hair and his energy just brings a smile to my face. Especially since I have been really low and had so many surgeries. 

Just over a year ago, I came in with a loved one who passed with terminal cancer. I have been grieving her loss. I showed him a photo do you remember her and he said yes because they were debating about curry chicken or chicken curry and at that time he bought so much joy to her during her cancer.

I wanted to thank him for making her laugh too. He deserves an award and more staff should learn from the empathy, kindness and joy he spreads in the department it really makes a difference in the hospital.
