About: Urgent Community Response / Virtual Ward Service

(as the patient),

After being admitted to hospital, I was soon eager to get back to my home comforts. I had all the equipment at home that was being used on the ward and with a nice pack of medications to take home, I was released.

The nurses that came out to see me were so lovely. I had to fill in a medical questionnaire every day with my observations on and then I’d get a phone call later on to discuss my ongoing treatment. They tailor the treatment on a daily basis.

Cannot recommend this service enough.

Thank you
