About: Victoria Hospital / Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service (RCDS)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had a good patient experience whilst under the care of the RCDS team at Victoria Hospital.  Everything was so quick and efficient.  I'm used to waiting for results if attending the hospital but the Rapid Diagnostic Team were on the ball and I was amazed at the speed of the service.  What was also good was the information I was given about the pathway and all my questions were answered fully with detail to help alleviate any worries I had.  All the staff were most helpful and kind, my thanks to everyone. It's a great service!

I’m really pleased to hear that you felt the service was quick and efficient, and that you were given clear information about the pathway with the opportunity to have all your questions fully answered. We know how worrying it can be to wait for tests and results, and it’s reassuring to hear that the team helped to alleviate some of that anxiety for you.

Your feedback reflects what we value deeply as a team that timely care matters most when it is delivered with kindness, clear communication and genuine compassion.
