"Audiology visit"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Audiology

(as the patient),

I recently visited Audiology for a hearing check,  and discovered (no surprise to me) that my hearing had deteriorated.

My hearing aids were altered, they appeared fine, but after getting home my right hearing aid switched off and will not stay on. I am now left in a worse state than I was before the visit.

I am not impressed.

I normally get far better service than this from this department

Dear TheVoice

I am sorry to hear that your hearing aid is not working and you are not happy with the service you have received. It sounds as though there is a fault with the hearing aid. Please get in contact and we will arrange to have a look at the device and make any adjustments or replace it as is necessary.

Best wishes

Claire Banks

Head of Aduiology
