I had excellent care during my elective C-section in early December and wanted to thank the whole team. The theatre staff were professional and competent whilst being relaxed and friendly, which really helped put me at ease.
Dr Lindsay carried out my spinal block, and Dr Cummings looked after me throughout the surgery. I was especially grateful to Dr Cummings for his kindness and quick help when I felt nauseous during the operation — it made a big difference. My surgeon Dr Green and her colleague were both very professional and reassuring.
The midwife, Claire, was excellent and made the recovery period, when it was just myself, my baby and my husband, such a lovely experience, thank you so much.
I felt well cared for from start to finish. I’m very grateful to everyone involved.
