"Trip to Sexual health clinic"

About: Sexual Health Services - Shropshire (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

Theres a lack of availability of time on my part and no Sexual Health clinics in the nearby towns to myself. I had to travel from a town out over to Shrewsbury via public transport and then catch another mode of public transport to the clinic, just outside of town. It's inconvenient that it's not open on days outside of Wednesdays I just happened to be free on that Wednesday to get to the clinic, had it been another week Id have had to postpone until I had another opportunity to visit which can take weeks at a time with my living/employment situation. Only gripe is with the single day a week walk-in.

Staff were lovely, did their best to engage with me in a non-judgemental way, and were very good about relaying useful information regarding safety, symptoms and protection.

I am glad to hear that you felt the clinic staff were engaging and non-judgemental and you received the help/support that you required.
