"Everyone has been very caring and supportive"

About: Cloughreagh House

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

This is the second time I have been in Cloughreagh House.  I came here this second time after a fall at home and I am so grateful for all the care and support I have received here and  I truly believe that if it wasn't for the help here I wouldn't have walked again.

Everyone has been very caring and supportive, I feel I can ask the staff about anything and if they don't know the answer they will try and get it for me. Coming here the second time was easy for me, the fact that the staff knew me was a comfort to me but I also think the staff go above and beyond to make people feel welcome and comfortable, their kindness takes away the fear of being in a new unfamiliar environment.

My bedroom is small but is kept very clean and I have everything I want in it.  The dining room is brilliant too and if you don't like what is on the menu they will get you something you do like.

I have met people here that I knew from my schooldays and it was lovely to meet up again and reminiscence, I also made some new friends.

I am ready to move on now from Cloughreagh but I want to really thank everyone who has been involved in my care, I would highly recommend it to anyone, there is nothing like it anywhere.
