Planned procedure cardiology intervention at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
I would just like to thank everyone involved in my care, they showed patience and compassion for a very anxious patient.
All the staff that I interacted with whether that was a brief interaction or prolonged, from the anaesthetist, the consultant, the theatre staff, nursing staff, CSW staff, porters, domestic staff, everyone was professional, caring, kind and a credit to the hospital.
The consultant Mr Behan and the anaesthetist provided all information about the procedure and allowed for any questions to be asked, even though they have probably been asked those questions and tried to alleviate patients fears thousands of times, I was still made to feel listened to and validated.
The staff in the medical day case on duty during my short time there were professional, attentive and accommodating to all patients. They provided exceptional service from the nurses Natalie, Nicola, Kylie, Robin the student nurse, Billy (CSW), Ali (porter), the nightshift nurse and CSW. They represent the very best of NHS care.
"Professional, attentive and accommodating"
