"She was very reassuring to my son and to me"

About: Ryegate - Paed Neurology

(as a parent/guardian),

My son got diagnosed with a non essential tremor by Dr Davies last year, she was very reassuring to him and to me, unfortunately his tremor got worse, so we went back to see Dr Davies and she prescribed some beta blockers, my son was a bit taken back, but again both me and him was reassured.

Dr Davies is fantastic at her job, when she asks my son to do things, she demonstrates them herself including hopping around!, she did all his obs herself, and even printed us some information off and showed us out, an absolute inspiration to the trust and Ryegate.

Dear Crahh55

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely feedback - it is really appreciated. I am so pleased to hear that you and your son were reassured by Dr Davies and that you had such a good experience - I will make sure that Dr Davies sees your feedback.

I loved your description of Dr Davies hopping around, and I am going to include your feedback in training materials about how interactive, playful approaches can enhance patient care.

Best wishes

Sarah
