"Incredible at their jobs"

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a service user),

I woke up with severe abdominal pain. Called an ambulance which may have taken a few hours but they arrived in minutes and the team were absolutely brilliant. No messing about , they looked after me and administered effective painkillers straight away and I felt so safe with both of them looking after me. Leanne and Ryan (i think...sorry if I forgot your name ryan...I forgot leannes too but I asked her again ). Both of these people are incredible at their jobs and I really felt like i was respected and cared for. Thank you ! šŸš‘

Good morning pilinqszs89,

My name is Maggie Hamilton, I am the Experience & Involvement Officer for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. I am very grateful and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. It was reassuring to learn that you felt so safe with both Leanne and Ryan looking after you.

It means such a lot to our teams to hear that they have a made a difference to those they care for and I am sure they will be delighted to hear your lovely words.

I would like to share your feedback with Leanne and Ryan who attended to you on the day and in order to locate them I would require the following information:

o Date and approximate time of the incident

o The address the ambulance was dispatched to

If you are happy to share this information, I can be contacted at:

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind regards,

Maggie
