"Excellent staff"

I attended the Royal as I was experiencing concerning symptoms following major surgery within the last couple of weeks.

I was triaged really quickly followed by bloods being taken.  The hospital seems to be operating a new triage system that I hadn’t seen before and which was very effective, or perhaps it’s only during the day whereas my encounter before was at night time.  

The waiting area was busy with the usual mix of people to include antisocial behaviour which has to be very difficult for the staff, who are under enough pressure, to deal with.

I was examined by a doctor who ensured that all tests were completed to rule out infection and then sent home reassured that all was well.  

I am very grateful to all of the staff that I encountered and think that they do a difficult job, in challenging circumstances.
