I recently took my elderly parents to an appointment at the lisburn PCCC. They had appointments made over the phone and only knew to attend the clinic. My father is not mobile at all and is in a wheelchair. We arrived at the clinic and the reception was closed. In asking staff where the diabetes clinic was they were unsure. It took myself asking about ten staff to clarify where to go before finding someone who knew. A total waste of staff time. I was also informed that the receptionist had retired and had not been replaced.
Also once I found out where to go, two elderly woman approached me asking where was the waiting area for clinic b. Could I advise that a receptionist is employed asap. It would save you lost staff time through answering questions.
Please also note there is what seems to be a digital check in board. This isn’t working.
