I have seen OT Richard for almost a year, when I first joined the service I was in a very dark and damaging place in my life. The service he provided is exactly what I needed. I have since then grown and become more confident and optimistic. I am now able to achieve my goals, some of which I never thought possible. I always had things holding me back and he helped me through it all he gave me my life back. I shared things with him that I never would have ever spoken about to anyone he helped me open up and supported me through all my struggles, helping me build a life for myself, giving me a purpose to live again. I will always be grateful for everything that he did for me and I will never let anything hold me back again I will keep pushing forward because of his help.
I recently had my last day of seeing him because we both felt that it was my time to go on by myself because I achieved so much in the time I spent with him. This is exactly the experience people like me should feel. I was never judged. I never felt like I had to hold anything back. I suffer from anxiety and that was a massive barrier for me. I haven’t had the best experience with adults all through my life, I was always let down, but the respect I received from Richard made me into a better man, a better person.
I thank you will all my heart.
