"Care provided"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a carer),

I had to take my sick grandmother who unfortunately has dementia to the Ulster Hospital A&E Department. I would just like to say that even though the department was very busy, all the staff were great. I would just like to give a special mention to Nurse Lucy who looked after us on night shift. We were provided with great care.

Hi hippopk45

Thank you for providing a review of your experience with your grandmother when attending ED. It is good to hear that while the department was very busy that the care she received was good. ED is a difficult environment for patients and families of dementia patients as it is so busy. I will pass on your thanks to Nurse Lucy who will appreciate your kind comments.

Kind Regards

Jenny

ED Lead Nurse
