"Really positive experience"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Breast care and breast surgery

(as the patient),

I had to attend the breast clinic at North Devon District Hospital recently and the care I received couldn’t have been better. I was seen by the consultant and nurse who were both just amazing and really reassured me on what would happen that day. I then was taken by the nurse to radiology for an ultrasound and the sonographer and nurse there were just as amazing. I was again reassured and given a diagnosis there and then. The process was quick and easy and what started as an extremely nerve wracking and stressful experience quickly became a calming and reassuring time. I can’t thank everyone enough, they were just brilliant!

Dear Stars1102,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience—it truly means a great deal to us.

We understand how worrying it can be to attend a breast clinic, so I’m especially pleased to hear that the team were able to support and reassure you throughout your visit. I will make sure your kind words are passed on to the consultant, nursing team, and our colleagues in radiology.

Providing compassionate, timely, and patient-centred care is very important to us, and it’s wonderful to hear that you felt reassured and well looked after every step of the way.

Thank you again for taking the time to write—your feedback is genuinely appreciated.

Warmest Wishes

Claire
