"Physio for frozen shoulder"

About: Physiotherapy MSK services / Craigavon Area Hospital Physiotherapy MSK Service

(as a service user),

Self referred to physio as advised by gp for shoulder pain. Had regular appointments for approx 1 year and steroid injection. Found physio and injection beneficial for pain relief and regaining movement. The physio recorded videos on my phone of me doing the exercises while they talked me through them. This was very useful for doing the exercises at home between appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of Physiotherapy within Craigavon, I am delighted to hear that you have had relief in your pain and regained movement in your shoulder following management.

It is particularly pleasing to hear you used the self referral route of access and also had intervention through our injection service, all designed to help patients access the services they need when they need them, so it is great that this worked well for you and the physio was able to communicate the exercises in a format that was effective. I will pass on your feedback to the Craigavon Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Team.
