"Her help and kindness got me walking"

About: Rutherglen & Cambuslang Locality Support Service / ICST (Community Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy) Rutherglen & Cambuslang

(as the patient),

Early January I had a bad fall and unfortunately hurt my ankle, I was confined to the house for a few weeks then I met my physiotherapist Lesley what a godsend. Lesley started my exercises gently then progressed to taking me down stairs and week by week she gradually to me out for short walks without her help and kindness got me walking. One fantastic lady. Lesley is with Rutherglen primary care. A big shout out for them

Dear Betty82

Thank you very much for giving us your feedback on our Lesley's input after you fell and hurt your ankle. It's fantastic to hear that with Lesley's support you were able to progress from being stuck in the house, to being able to go out and about again. Well done for getting through your rehabilitation and progressing so well. We have shared your feedback with Lesley and the rest of the team and we are so grateful to hear your story. Best wishes and kindest regards,

Tracey Shaw
