"the very best care"

I have been attending the Macular clinic at the Mater hospital for a number of years now while having an ongoing diabetic eye condition.

On each and every occasion, I have been treated with dignity, care and respect by all staff in this busy unit.

I am under the care of the most pleasant, attentive and sometimes very funny consultant, Mr Gubta. On each and every visit, he and his nursing staff help put me at ease and when it comes to having my injections and implants, I have no fear as he has such a calming disposition and I trust in his professionalism throughout.

He has also recently recommended me for urgent cataract removal in both eyes and put everything in place for the surgery to be carried out in Downe hospital, where once again I received excellent care under Mr Stewart.

I realise that many new patients to the service will be anxious about what will happen but I can assure them all that there is no need to worry as they will be under the very best care with Mr Gubta and all the staff at the Macular clinic.
