"Always available and responsive to any problems"

Six months ago my husband was diagnosed with myeloma - an incurable but treatable cancer. He is also Type 2 Diabetic- a condition he has managed for 15 years. However now he is having chemotherapy and a range of other medication, his diabetes has become more difficult to control.

I’d like to highlight the wonderful care he has had from the Diabetes Specialist Nurses at Eastwood Health and Care Centre, G76 7HN, in particular Kathy. She has taken great care to manage his diabetic medication and to keep his numbers as low as possible. The team are always available and responsive to any problems. This gives my husband confidence that his diabetes is being managed well and is a comfort to me too.
