"Our positive birthing experience"

With this being our first baby we were both unsure of what to expect. An early call to the maternity assessment unit put us at ease and not long later we were heading to the hospital. It was lovely that we were met by Keira who had spoken with us on the phone earlier that morning. From the minute we arrived we were put at ease by the midwife’s. They made the whole experience stress free by listening to what was important to us and guiding us through the process. Cherie was with us to the end, I honestly feel like I couldn’t have done it without her and made even more special that Keira joined again for the delivery. The whole team at Dumfries made it a positive birthing experience, we’ll both be forever grateful.
