An absolute gem of a service

It's no suprise the NHS in under extreme pressure but my time in APTS was nothing short of incredible even if I wished the circumstances leading me to requiring the service had not happened.

While few, any missed appointments due to extenuating circumstances were always understood and effort was made to accommodate around this. Care was taken to ensure building maintenance work did not disrupt therapy sessions and the option for phone calls were given should in-face appointments not be available. 

My therapist was spot on (as she was many times) when she said the process was slow cooker and not microwave therapy. This is still true as 3 months after discharge I am thriving and continuing to use lessons learnt. There is no better feeling than responding to a situation in a healthier way than you would have previously. 

I carry my therapist Ciara's words and teachings, and my time in Old Bridge House, very close and am extremely grateful for her help even if I fought with her many times and bet she couldnt prove me wrong in regards to my way of thinking...

This service has been invaluable and anyone who has been offered a place can rest assured they will receive impeccable care and will be well looked after.
